This past Spring, the Maryland Chapter of Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conducted their annual call for applications for vacant board positions. The requirements set forth by HIMSS National are: Officers and Directors of the Board must be members in good standing of National HIMSS and of the State Chapter for at least 1 year in order to serve on the board.
