Focused on the Value of Health Information Technology, Maryland HIMSS Board Member - Karen Marie Wilding Presents at HIMSS15

Baltimore, Maryland – April 9th, 2015 – Karen Marie Wilding brings her take on the value of health IT to the 2015 Annual HIMSS Conference & Exhibition in Chicago, April 12-16, 2015. Karen will present “Navigating “Meaningful Use Rapids” Provider Onboarding” on Tuesday, April 14th 2015 at 1PM. More than 38,000 healthcare industry professionals are expected at the conference, where they will learn about and discuss health IT issues, and view industry solutions.
As a HIMSS15 presenter, Karen Wilding, a director at the University of Maryland Medical System along with Anatachai (Tony) Panjamapirom, a senior consultant with the Advisory Board Company, will discuss risks of provider onboarding for Meaningful Use, and will offer recommendations for operational planning.
Proposals under review by the Annual Conference Education Committee have gone through a peer-review selection process for enhanced efficiency and quality in selection of the educational offerings at the conference. The HIMSS Annual Conference Education Committee evaluates and selects all candidates with those representing an organization or non-commercial interest given preference, a guideline followed to achieve Continuing Medical Education or CME requirements.
The HIMSS Annual Conference & Exhibition ranks as one of the largest health IT gatherings in the world, with more than 300 peer-reviewed education sessions, a 467,000 square-foot exhibit floor and numerous networking events.
