Maryland HIMSS Partners with and Makes Donation to Health Care for the Homeless
MDHIMSS proudly partnered with Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) as its charity beneficiary from the inaugural two-day conference. HCH works to end homelessness through racially equitable health care, housing, and advocacy. Serving 10,000 neighbors annually, HCH runs three outpatient clinics, a mobile clinic, convalescent care, and an outreach team.
MDHIMSS raised dollars and collected needed items for the charity during the two-day event. Today several of our board members toured the Health Care for the Homeless’ Fallsway Clinic and provided the organization with a check for $2,000 from MDHIMSS. It is an honor to offer support to our Charity Program each year. MDHIMSS remains committed to helping charitable organizations that leverage technology to support the health and well-being of the communities they serve.
