Ravi is the President of FiDES Info Sys, Inc. With over 25 years of experience in healthcare and information technology, he has a successful track record as a leader in information technology, entrepreneurship, and volunteering in professional organizations and the community. Ravi is responsible for providing the corporate leadership and direction for the company in successful execution of consulting and outsourcing services for major healthcare and business organizations in all aspects of information technology.

Prior to forming FiDES Ravi was the Senior Vice President of a nationwide health information technology consulting and outsourcing company for over a decade. Before that, he held various management positions with Georgetown University Hospital, Suburban Hospital, and Electronic Industry Association amongst others.

Ravi has served on the Maryland Chapter of HIMSS board for over a decade, starting as a Member-at- Large, serving as the Treasurer, Vice President, President, Past President, and now as the Board Member. He is also an active member of the National Healthcare Information Management System’s Society (HIMSS).

Ravi holds a Master of Science in Computer Science & Management and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Management and Information Science from the University of Maryland University College.

Jennifer Baron

Jennifer is the Epic System Development Manager at Johns Hopkins Health System where she serves as the Project Manager supporting executive leadership, surgeons, and nurses in surgery and anesthesia in six acute hospitals, six ambulatory surgery centers with Epic OpTime and Anesthesia software maintenance and project requests.


With twenty-five years of progressive clinical experience in the healthcare industry, Jennifer successfully combined a nursing informatics and project manager role using information management structure, process, and technology to lead clinical, informatics, and analyst teams. Prior to her current position, she worked at the University of Maryland Medical System and Bon Secours Baltimore Health System in various Clinical Informatics management roles. Jennifer began her career as a Registered Nurse in 1997 at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, and continued as a Labor and Delivery Staff Nurse, Surgery Center Charge Nurse, and Intensive Care Unit Charge and Staff Nurse for several hospitals in Maryland and Florida including GBMC, Mercy Medical Center, Future Health, Palms West Hospital, Wellington Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph Medical Center, and Bon Secours Baltimore.
 

Jennifer earned a Master of Science in Nursing Informatics from Walden University and a Project Management Certificate from Georgetown University. She is an active member of the Honor Society of Nursing Sigma Theta Tau International, American Nursing Informatics Association (ANIA), and Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) with a recent position on the Board of Directors for the Maryland Chapter of HIMSS. Giving back to the community and her industry, Jennifer is a coach for the Greater Maryland Heart Walk.

Phil Campbell

As Chief Technology Officer at Luminis Health in Annapolis, MD, Phil is currently leading the technology infrastructure and support across all system components. Prior to his position at Luminis Health, he served as Health Care Industry Analyst for Windstream, and Chief Information Officer/Vice President of Information Services at CalvertHealth Medical Center. He spent 22 years in management and leadership roles for the US Navy. Roles included Deputy CIO for Client Services for the IT Services Division, Operations Officer and Collections Management Department Head for the Office of Naval Intelligence, Naval Attache, and Senior Intelligence Analyst.

Phil has been an active member and board member of several organizations including the American College of Healthcare Executives, College of Healthcare Information Management Executives, HIMSS, Maryland HIMSS, Military Officers Association of America, and Rotary Club of Prince Frederick. With six years' involvement, Phil has recently served as a President-Elect, Secretary, and Director.

Anna Schoenbaum currently serves as the Vice President of Applications and Digital Health at Penn Medicine. In this capacity, she leads initiatives dedicated to enhancing the health ecosystem through various applications and digital solutions, with a particular focus on advancing health and advocating for heath equity.

Dr. Schoenbaum is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Maryland School of Nursing. On the global level, she actively engages with HIMSS, serving as a co-chair of the Nursing Innovation Advisory Workgroup.  Furthermore, Dr. Schoenbaum actively contributes to the ANA Precision Health workgroup and was recently appointed to the ANCC Nursing Informatics Content Expert Panel.  On the local level, she holds an executive position on the Maryland HIMSS Board of Directors.  Based on Dr. Schoenbaum's contributions to the Health IT field, she was recognized with the 2023 HIMSS and ANI Changemaker Nursing Informatics award.

Jennifer Moore

Jennifer V. Moore, MHSA has been involved in management of health care information technology for over 23 years. She is currently the Executive Director of The Partners in Care Network which is a non-profit community collaborative dedicated to building a network of Substance Use Disorder Care Providers that serve the District of Columbia.

She has assisted hospitals, health systems, home health agencies and long term care clients with interim leadership, planning, system selection, contract negotiation, project management, workflow redesign, implementation and customer support. Jennifer works across the broad continuum of health care bringing her clients value from the depth and breadth of her health care knowledge and experience. She approaches the selection and implementation of technology solutions as a multi-faceted effort of which technology is only one of many tools available for solving today’s health care challenges. She brings to her clients an approach that enables success through proper problem identification, workflow analysis/redesign and change management for processes and people.

Jennifer has served in leadership roles at organizations such as Inova Health System, MedStar, Carroll Hospital, Daughters of Charity National Health System and St. Agnes Hospital.

Mohammad Bajwa

Dr. Mohammad Bajwa is currently working as a Professor of Health Informatics at the University of Maryland Global Campus. He holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry along with three master’s in biology, Information Technology and Health Information Management and three graduate certificates in Health Informatics, Health Information Management & Exchange, and Health Data analytics, plus four Health IT/IT industry certifications (CPHIMS, CPHI, RHIA, MCSE).

Dr. Bajwa has developed several undergraduate and graduate programs in Health Information Management and Health Informatics. He has over 25 years of national/international university-level teaching experience and has extensively published in journals and professional magazines and presented at national/international conferences.

He is an active member of HIMSS, MDHIMSS, AHIMA, MDHIMA and actively participates in their local, national, and international professional activities.

Cindy Carson

Cindy is the head of Partnerships for WebMD Ignite, establishing and supporting success with industry partners in the U.S. and internationally. Serving as a liaison to hospital clients leveraging technology partners with health content and other WebMD solutions, Cindy’s expertise involves deep relationship building and strategy building across technology in clinical care, population health, patient acquisition, engagement, and retention within the ecosystem of WebMD’s clinical division. With a deep emphasis on patient education and clinically facing engagement tools, clinical guidelines support, and health content that spans the consumer “discovery through recovery” process, Cindy has deep experience in the health industry built upon technology and communication leadership roles. Cindy is heavily focused on the hospital and population health sectors of health technology and content.

Cindy’s previous experience includes a 15-year tenure in regional publishing, and executive consulting focused on growth, development, and communication excellence. Moving into technology as the General Manager of Social Solutions software and then to patient education integrations under Milner-Fenwick and The Wellness Network, Cindy champions the power of technology in communications. In addition to her role at WebMD, Cindy serves on the Maryland HIMSS Board of Directors and is the Chair of the Communications Committee. She previously served as the Chair of the Clinical Applications and Informatics Pillar Committee. Cindy is an active member of the Maryland Tech Council, the AMA, and sits on the Board of HASA - Hearing and Speech Agency of Baltimore. Cindy earned her BA from Loyola University in Maryland and is a candidate for an MS in Biotechnology from the University of Maryland.

Jackie Rice

Jackie Rice, BSN, RN is the Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at Frederick Health. In her role, Jackie leads the development of an innovative, robust and secure information technology environment for Frederick Health that incorporates governance, cybersecurity, digital innovation, population health and information technology protocols. Jackie’s 20-year background in nursing led her to her path in Information Services, where she could leverage her nursing experience to define processes and solutions that could support the workflow and functionality needs of nurses and clinicians alike.

In addition to her role at Frederick Health, Jackie serves on the Maryland HIMSS Board of Directors and was President of MD HIMSS for 2023. Jackie is committed to following the mission of Frederick Health, to positively impact the well-being of every individual in their community.

Jackie earned her Bachelor of Science from Notre Dame of Maryland University.

Jeff Ostrow

Jeff Ostrow, MSIT PMP is currently a Director of Training and Development for Johns Hopkins University where he oversees a team of education professionals.  Jeff’s previous experience includes over 30 years of education and information technology experience as well as leadership roles for several organizations, most notably, the University of Maryland Medical System and Johns Hopkins Medicine.  Jeff is currently a Co-Chair for the Maryland HIMSS Professional Development Committee. 

Jeff received his Bachelors of Science degree in Information’s Systems Management from UMBC and his Masters of Science in Instructional Technology from Towson University.  Jeff is a Project Management Professional as he earned his PMP certification in 2010.  Jeff is currently an adjunct faculty member at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, Stevenson University and CCBC where he teaches IT, Project Management and Health IT courses.

From a dedicated registered nurse, she has ascended to the pivotal role of Chief Information Officer. Tonya's journey commenced at Columbia Union College, where she honed her nursing skills and developed an empathetic approach towards patient care. Her unwavering dedication and thirst for knowledge led her to the University of Maryland University College, where she obtained dual Master's degrees in Healthcare Administration and Business Administration. This unique blend of clinical expertise and managerial acumen formed the bedrock of her future endeavors. In her current capacity as Chief Information Officer, Tonya orchestrates a dynamic information technology department within the federal government. Her leadership navigates the intricate realm of healthcare technology, where she spearheads initiatives that seek to seamlessly integrate cutting-edge IT solutions with the imperatives of clinical stakeholders. Through strategic vision and collaborative prowess, she ensures that patient populations receive the utmost care in an environment empowered by innovation.

One of Tonya's most remarkable traits is her innate ability to bridge the gap between the clinical and technological realms. Drawing from her background as a nurse, she possesses an intimate understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by healthcare practitioners on the front lines. This empathy fuels her drive to conceive innovative solutions that not only address these challenges but also amplify the efficacy of care delivery.

Kathryn Whitmore

Kathryn Whitmore, CEO of STS Consulting Group, founded her boutique strategy and transformation consultancy in 2011 to focus on healthcare analytics innovation driving population health outcomes and the industry transformation to value-based care. She is the author of a unique ‘enterprise intelligence’ strategy and implementation model. Kathryn was honored to jointly receive The Data Warehousing Institute Best Practices Award for innovation as Cleveland Clinic’s solutions partner.  Her results have also been recognized by a partner nomination for the SmartCEO Brava Award for high-impact business leaders. Kathryn’s past leadership roles include Principal & Founder of Strategic Technology Solutions for ESG.  Prior to that role, she was Vice President of Software Engineering for eOriginal and Assistant Vice President of Application Services for MedStar. Kathryn has held a variety of leadership and technology roles focused on analytics, strategy, operations, and performance improvement for MedStar Health, Helix Health, and Department of Defense organizations including Northrop Grumman/Westinghouse.

Kathryn has been a member of HIMSS Maryland Chapter since 2010. Currently, she is Board Member and Committee Advisor for Data & Analytics and Events, and served as President, Vice President, and President-Elect of the Board of Directors. Her leadership was recognized with a National HIMSS Advocate of the Year award for her contribution to Maryland public policy advocacy including testimony to the Maryland Legislature for Senator Susan C. Lee sponsored telemedicine bills which later became law.

Kathryn is a member of the Maryland Health Care Commission Health Information Exchange Policy Board serving as a staff advisor for shaping HIE policy in Maryland. She participates with clients in the Healthcare Data and Analytics Association. She is an active member of the Project Management Institute, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, The Data Governance Institute, and The Data Warehousing Institute.

Kathryn holds a Master of Science degree in Technical Program Management from the Johns Hopkins University Whiting School of Engineering. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Information Management from West Chester University.
