The Maryland HIMSS Annual Conference brings together healthcare professionals for two days of learning and networking. Held at the Turf Valley Resort, the conference offers educational opportunities, including Continuing Education Units, and fosters connections with industry leaders. Topics like AI, cybersecurity, data analytics, and women in health IT will be featured.

For 2025, the theme is Navigating the Digital Frontier. Highlights include:

• Matt MacVey, EVP and CIO of Children’s National Hospital, on the hospital’s analytics journey

• Craig Behm, President and CEO of CRISP, leading a fireside chat on healthcare data interoperability

• Moderated sessions by Scott MacLean, SVP and CIO of MedStar Health, and Charity Dorazio, VP and CIO of Adventist HealthCare. Other topics include workforce health, clinical workflow innovation, AI project management, and cybersecurity in healthcare. A closing CIO panel will return by popular demand.
