How should I get involved with the Maryland Chapter of HIMSS?

There are many ways that you can get involved with the Maryland Chapter of HIMSS – become a member, attend events, sponsor the organization or the events, or volunteer as a Committee or Board member who creates, organizes, and implements our programs and events.

Here’s how to get involved:

• Become a member! HIMSS offers individual, corporate, affiliate, and student memberships. If you choose full membership, a chapter membership is included at no extra charge. Select "Mid-Atlantic Region" and "Maryland Chapter Membership." You may also choose a "chapter only" membership for $39 a year. The global HIMSS website contains more information on membership options.
• Make a difference through Advocacy Programs. Check out the Advocacy page if you would like to see how our Advocacy Programs have educated our State Legislators on Healthcare IT issues that affect our area hospitals and providers.
• Sponsor the chapter or events. Visit the Sponsor Program page if your company is interested in sponsorship opportunities with our Chapter to support our Programs and Events.
• Volunteer on a committee. Go to the Committees page if you are interested in the various committees that we have and what each does.
