The Future of Healthcare Policy at HIMSS25 Europe

From 10-12 June 2025, Paris will become the epicenter of healthcare policy innovation as the 2025 HIMSS European Conference & Exhibition convenes thought leaders, policymakers, and industry pioneers to explore the intersection of regulation and digital transformation.  

Registration is now open for HIMS25 Europe. With Europe at the forefront of progressive health policy, this year’s conference will feature a focus on how legislative advancements such as the European Health Data Space, the EU AI Act and the Cyber Resilience Act are reshaping healthcare across the continent. 

The Bridging Policy and Practice track at HIMSS25 Europe will provide attendees with invaluable insights into the latest policy innovations coming from Brussels. These legislative changes aim to transform the healthcare landscape, influencing technology adoption, data sharing, and cybersecurity strategies.  

The session Research First: EU Projects, taking place on Tuesday, 10 June, will bring together key lawmakers from the European Union to discuss groundbreaking research and policy initiatives. This session will provide an exclusive opportunity to understand the legislative priorities shaping Europe’s digital health future. 

The EU policy-focused session, European Health Data Space in Practice, featuring Karlien Hollanders from Belgium, will delve into real-world applications of the EHDS, demonstrating how new frameworks are improving interoperability. Attendees will then have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on workshop designed to apply their newly acquired knowledge to practical scenarios.
